Jon Brooke

rightplacerighttime.co.uk is an event photography business run by me, Jon Brooke. As well as having the skills of a photographer I also have a background as an event organiser (Mountain biking, orienteering and adventure racing) and as a competitor, and I like to think that this gives me an edge when it comes to being in the right place at the right time. I won't get in the way of the competitors or the organisation, but I will get the pictures.

As well as taking most of the pics I also do all the admin, so in the unlikely event that there is a problem with the service then it is probably my fault. On the other hand, if you love the picture you bought, can't believe how quickly it was available online to buy and think it was fantastic value for money, well that's down to me too!

Our aim at rightplacerighttime.co.uk is to continue to improve on everything we do, but if you think there is anything we could do better or differently I would love to hear about it. In addition to event photography I am also available for other photographic commissions (editorial, advertising etc. (but not weddings!)) and can also turn my hand to writing and reporting. For example at the 2009 and 2010 LAMMs, I not only took photos of competitors, but also did the online reporting of the event, posting several live reports over the weekend.
